APPLE & CINNAMON SLOW COOKED OATS

This is a healthy, tasty breakfast that's warm, creamy, and slightly sweet with tender pieces of apple and plenty of cinnamon. Pop all of the ingredients in your slow cooker overnight and in the morning you'll wake up to a delicious, hearty breakfast.

Ingredients

45g Porridge Oats
1 tsp Cinnamon
1 tsp White or Brown Sugar
350ml Semi Skimmed Milk
1 Apple (peeled, core removed and roughly chopped)

How to make it

  • Add the oats, cinnamon, and sugar to a glass bowl and mix.
  • Then add in the milk and stir well.
  • Finally add the apple into the glass bowl and quickly stir .
  • Fill the slow cooker bowl with cold water and then place the oat mixture in the glass bowl into the slow cooker.
  • Cook for 7 ½ hours on low then tuck in1
  • Optional: Add a sprinkle of Cinnamon when done for extra flavour
