RED VELVET PANCAKES

Ingredients

2 Cup All-Purpose Flour
2 tsp Baking Powder
1/2 tsp Baking Soda
1/2 tsp Salt
2 tbsp Cocoa Powder
250ml Milk
2 Large Eggs
1 tbsp Red Food Colouring
1 tsp Vanilla extract
3 tbsp Butter

How to make it

  • Start by mixing together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and cocoa powder.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk the egg and milk together. Then, whisk in the food colouring and vanilla extract.
  • Pour the wet mixture into the dry mixture and stir until it's combined.
  • Add 1 tbsp of butter to a non-stick fry pan. Bring it to medium heat and pour batter in about a 1/4 cup at a time.
  • Cook for 2-3 minutes or until bubbles start to appear. Flip and cook for another minute. (make sure you add more butter as you need).
  • Keep cooked pancakes warm in the oven or under tin foil.
  • Serve with fresh raspberries.
